FRANCIS C. SALES

Francis Leslie C. Sales, 57, left us on Dec. 4, 2024, after a life filled with passion and love. Francis, cherished for his simpleness, kind, caring, loving and humorous personality.

Growing up in the Philippines then moving to the U.S., Francis was an esteemed alumnus of San Beda College, attending elementary through high school where he excelled in his studies and played for the San Beda College basketball team, then graduated college from AMA majoring in computer science.

Being a gifted athlete in various sports, he was awarded multiple medals in basketball, swimming, baseball and volleyball. Francis accomplished many milestones in life, including finishing his master’s degree and PhD degree in business, the highest postgraduate achievement one can earn. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the 1990s. Many of Francis’ achievements through the years was his career, where he worked in various management positions from organizations such as Cedars Sinai, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, City of Hope and LA Care to name a few.

An avid pigeon fancier, he bred and raced pigeons as a hobby from his childhood through adulthood. He enjoyed this hobby as its where he found peace, tranquility, joy, and fulfillment. He joined several clubs throughout the years and one of his proudest moments was being a past president of the San Beda Alumni Southern California.

As Francis prioritized finding happiness in life, he wished the same of others. Francis lived a fulfilling life. While our hearts mourn his loss, we take comfort in knowing he is happily with our loved ones. He will be remembered for all the love he shared with family and friends. Until his passing, he carried himself with strength, dignity and love. He will be missed dearly.
